How Far Along:   24 weeks and 5 days

Size of baby:  9 inches and 1.5lbs

Total weight gained/lost:  Guys…I'm going to be honest with this. I'm up 10lbs (which I know is not a ton, but it's still shocking when you see it!). I'm either eating too many milkshakes (which is probably the case because I want one every day) or this little girl has been on a growth spurt. I seriously must have looked devastated when I saw the number pop up on the scale, because the medical assistant laughed and told me it was totally normal. Geeze.

Maternity Clothes:  Still trying to fit into my leggings/jeans these days. My jeans don't even zip up anymore so I have to wear my belly band if I want to wear them. Half of my shirts look ridiculous and half of them still fit, so i'm half maternity shirts and half regular these days. It's getting more and more complicated to get dressed these days. Thanks goodness I am in scrubs most days, because those have proven to be the comfiest outfits yet.

Gender:  Still a Girl! :)

Movement: I feel her all the time. It sometimes feels like she never stops moving. She's footling breech so her feet are right on my bladder all time, which means I feel every kick to my bladder/cervix all day every day. Yesterday I felt something sitting up in my rib (hoping it was a foot because that means she's turned!) but that was pretty uncomfortable. I can now see the movements on the outside of my belly too. It looks really alien to watch your belly move around on it's own.

Sleep: The body pillow is a life saver. I'm still getting up 2-4 times every night to pee (thank you breech baby) so that is getting reeeallllyyyy annoying. I'm also getting woken up with some of her stronger kicks throughout the night. This kid has her days and nights mixed up. Oh and the heartburn…ughhh the heartburn…That's been fun at night too. So long story short I don't sleep.

Symptoms:  Heartburn heartburn heartburn.

What I miss:  Sleeping on my stomach, or anywhere relatively close to my stomach.

Cravings: Milkshakes and sweet tarts.

Best Moment this week:  Went to the doctor yesterday and heard her strong little heart beat. I'm so happy that she's healthy in there. Also I had a great birthday on the 26th! I feel so blessed with the friends and family that I have that all tried to make my day more special (even though I had to study most of the day for a test)

What I am looking forward to: Graduation! Less than 100 days until I'm done with school. It seems crazy, but i'm so excited to just relax and be a mom.

^^ 24 Weeks on my 24th birthday! Baby girl is growing! ^^

Also, pictures from Mexico will be up soon! I got a new wireless SD card for christmas and I still need to sit down and figure out how to work it. Stay tuned.
